As every year we took a part in the Nursing Homes Weeks in Ireland. For that occasion we held a BBQ yesterday with a lovely food, life music by William Reidy, face painting and the fantastic Elvis Tribute Act! It was absolutely brilliant show! Our Residents had a lovely day in Killarney yesterday. We went to see the Killarney House dates from the early 1700s and was originally the stable block of the first residence of the Earls of Kenmare. Residents enjoyed a tour of the historic rooms take in the beauty of the extensive pleasure gardens. After visiting that beautiful place, recently visited by Prince Charles and Camilla we went to Ross Castle where we treated our self to a lovely picnic and ice cream! Last Thursday we took a group of our Residents to Fota Wildlife Park! The beautiful Zoo is 100 acres
in size and the animal enclosures are large and natural. It was amazing to see the zebras and giraffes
