Welcome to Windmill Nursing Group

The Windmill Nursing Group was established in 2005 and is owned by Pat Kennedy and Denis McElligott. The group is in a growth phase following the addition of Clarenbridge Nursing Home (Galway) in 2013 and then Ferbane Nursing Home (Offaly) in 2014 to the pre-existing nursing homes Windmill House Nursing Home (Cork), Abbot Close Nursing Home (Limerick) and Killeline Nursing Home (Limerick). Preparations are well underway for our annual celebration of the Bealtaine festival. The Bealtaine festival is Ireland’s national celebration of the arts and creativity as we age. What a great experience we had visiting the O’Brien Famous Costume Studio yesterday! Terry, the owner had us all laughing from the moment we stepped in to the studio. Our Residents had a fabulous day yesterday in Bunratty Folk Park in co Clare. Residents really enjoy the stroll from house to house and around the charming village street complete with school, post office, doctors house, hardware shop, printers and of course McNamara’s pub!
